How much does Paradox cost?
Paradox does not list prices on its website. Its pricing page shows plans for global enterprises, mid-sized businesses and franchises, and each one asks you to request a demo. So every number you find online comes from buyers or from pricing research sites.
CostBench, a site that collects software prices from buyers, reports a median Paradox contract of $87,500 a year. That median comes from only 5 buyer reports, and CostBench calls it a rough guide, not official pricing. It also reports that Paradox sells multi-year contracts, often for 2 to 3 years, with a minimum aimed at employers with 200 or more locations or 1,000 or more hires a year.
We checked each source below on October 17, 2026. Paradox is now part of Workday, which completed the purchase on October 1, 2025. Workday says you can buy Paradox through Workday or through Paradox. Ask for a written quote before you budget.

What do you get from Paradox for the price?
Paradox is best known for Olivia, an AI assistant that talks to applicants by text and chat. Its website lists a conversational ATS, a candidate experience agent that works on top of your current ATS, and a career site builder.
The features it lists include text and chat job applications, applicant screening questions, interview scheduling, video interviewing, offers, onboarding, hiring events, referrals and feedback surveys. Paradox focuses on frontline hiring in retail, restaurants, franchises, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing and hotels.
Which of these your contract includes depends on the deal. Ask for a quote that lists each product and its price on its own line, and ask whether pricing is set by location, by hire or by module.
What does Paradox cost per hire or per interview?
To compare a yearly contract with a per-interview price, divide the yearly cost by the number of candidates you really screen. At the $87,500 CostBench median, screening 5,000 candidates a year works out to $17.50 each. At 20,000 candidates it is about $4.38 each. At 50,000 it is $1.75 each.
With Goodfit, 5,000 finished interviews cost $25,000, with no setup fee and no yearly contract. At about 17,500 interviews a year, Goodfit costs the same as the median Paradox contract. Above that, a negotiated contract can cost less per candidate, and Goodfit quotes a custom price above 20,000 interviews.
Frontline hiring is rarely steady. Stores hire hard before the holidays and slow down in January. A yearly contract charges you the same in both seasons, while a per-interview price follows your hiring. Our AI interview software pricing guide runs the same math for other vendors.
Does Paradox have a free trial?
Paradox’s website has no free trial and no self-serve plan. You start with a demo. CostBench also reports no free plan and no trial.
What are Paradox alternatives with public prices?
Few tools do everything Paradox does, so start with the job you need done. Fountain and Workstream also sell hiring software for hourly workers, and neither publishes prices. Spark Hire sells recorded video interviews. Ribbon and Goodfit run spoken AI interviews that ask follow-up questions. We checked every tool below on October 17, 2026, except Hireflix, which we checked on October 16, 2026.
| Tool | What it does | Best for | Price | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Goodfit | AI interviews by phone call or browser link, with follow-up questions. You get the recording, the transcript and a score out of 10 for each skill. | High-volume hourly and frontline hiring, and teams whose volume changes by season | $5 per finished interview. | Spark Hire | Recorded and live video interviews | Small and mid-size teams that want video answers | $249 a month billed yearly, or $299 a month with no contract | sparkhire.com/pricing |

Who should still choose Paradox?
Paradox makes sense for large frontline employers that want text apply, scheduling, hiring events and onboarding from one vendor, across hundreds of locations. It is also a natural pick if you already run Workday, since Workday now sells it. If that is you, bring the CostBench median to the negotiation and ask for every product and the setup fee on separate lines.
Where does Goodfit fit?
Goodfit suits teams that want every applicant interviewed, not only booked into a slot. Goodfit calls each candidate or sends a browser link, at any hour, and asks follow-up questions based on each answer. You get the recording, the transcript and a score out of 10 for each skill, with the candidate’s own words next to each score. You pay $5 for each finished interview, and interviews where the candidate is connected for less than 2 minutes are free.
Skill tests and cheating checks on browser interviews come with the same credit. There are no seat fees and no setup fee. Goodfit is SOC 2 Type II compliant, and ATS connections are set up during onboarding.
Goodfit is not a career site or an onboarding tool. If you want one vendor for text apply, scheduling and onboarding, Paradox or Fountain covers more ground. Many teams pair Goodfit with the ATS they already have. To see how a phone screen works, read about AI phone screening, or see how other tools price in our HireVue pricing guide.
